Letter from Tori

Hi SkyMoms!
 
Can you believe we are in year 2020?!? Just simply hearing twenty, twenty makes me think of eye vision. 20/20 vision is a goal many aspire to achieve to see clearly without lenses. Many of you may not know, that I only have vision in one eye and my other is a prosthetic eye. I was in a 4-wheeler accident years ago that took my right eye. Through that accident and many other life events the Lord has allowed me to “see” clearly the value He adds to my life and to others around me. I like to say that I now “see” life with more clarity with only one eye, than I ever did with two eyes.
 
Do you have an inspiration or word for this year? MINE IS VISION! I want to have a clear perspective and perception on what the Lord has for me this year. 
To do that…

• I will need to make sure I “see” people and the needs around me. For example, I want to be better at sending cards, meals, and or serving others.
• I will need to remove distractions that steal my sight and pull me off course. For example, limit my time on social media platforms and instead make a personal phone calls or texts.
• I will keep my sight on Him and “see” what He has for me. For example, consistently continue to start my day with Him and ask Him to be my guide and show His ways for me.
