Mail from friends and family is one of the highlights of camp! Here’s everything you need to know!
The DIY Method
Delivery
- We deliver packages on Tuesday and Thursday. Limit 1 package per camper on each of these days.
- We do NOT receive packages sent through UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Letters and packages to campers need to be pre-addressed and brought at check-in.
- We deliver any number of letters in flat envelopes every day, so feel free to write a few kind words for your camper – be sure to address it with camper name, cabin and day of delivery!
What goes inside a package?
- Snacks, a journal, small trinkets or games, or just a sweet note. Food must be sealed. Please do not send gum! For the safety of all campers and staff, do not include snacks with common airborne allergies such as peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, etc.
Labeling
- Your package or letter needs 3 things: Camper’s Name, Cabin Number, and Day of Delivery. (Mon - Friday for letters. Tues or Thurs for packages)
Drop-off
- On Sunday, drop off your letters and packages at the Legacy Center when you arrive. Don't leave it in the car! Take it with you when you hop on the wagon to go to your cabin!
The Kick-back and Relax Method
We offer amazing pre-made care packages (SkyPacks) that can be purchased through your online account (select Pre-Orders) and delivered every day.
The Corner Store will also be open in the Legacy Center on Sunday for you to make purchases to send to your camper during the week! (Or plan ahead and order them now!)

Camper Photos & Parent Emails
Photos - See camp in action!
- You can expect to see a handful of fun pictures of your camper participating in activities and posing with their cabin throughout the week. The goal is to capture at least one photo of each camper, each day.
- Pictures are uploaded daily to the Bunk1 App for you to view, purchase, and share.
- We do not post pictures of Friday evening activities.
- Due to the nature of the schedule, we do not take pictures of reserved activities like paintball and horsemanship.
The Purpose of Camper Photos
We believe camper photos should be a glimpse into camp life for parents at home. Our goal is to give you a general idea of what your camper’s program is doing each day – to help you feel good about your decision to send them and show you some of the incredible fun they are having. We would ask you to refrain from using camper photos as the thermostat for the well-being or happiness of your child. Not everyone remembers to smile when they are trying something new or doing something really fun. It’s also important for you to know we will never disrupt a camper’s in-the-moment experience to get a great picture. We will prioritize your camper living in the moment over capturing the moment – every time. Even knowing a camera is present can be a big distraction, and we work hard to avoid this, which sometimes means we don’t get as many pictures as we’d like.
What We Know
As we evaluate the use of photos in our camper’s experience, here’s what we know:
- Parents love camper photos – and we love knowing you love them!
- Photos are meant to be a small glimpse of camp, not a record of everything that happens in a day.
- Campers have different views on photos. Some love to see the camera and come running. Others shy away, not wanting their picture taken or not wanting to interrupt their current fun.
- We live in a time of constant technology – capturing every moment. We believe kids need a place to play where there is no pressure to be camera-ready.
What You Can Expect from Us
These are the expectations our Leadership Teams have determined will provide a great experience for your camper – which should include great memories AND wonderful photos you can share for years to come. We are committed to:
- Providing lots of great pictures from your child’s week at camp.
- Taking at least one photo of your camper each day.
- Uploading photos to the Bunk1 app every evening. Night event photos will be posted the next morning.
- Notifying you if there is a reason we are not able to provide pictures on a certain day. Sometimes, due to weather, we aren’t able to take as many pictures as we’d like. We will let you know if this is the case and try to grab more pictures at a later time.
We have amazing things planned for this summer, and we cannot wait for your child to get here! There will be so many incredible opportunities for them to make new friends, grow in their faith, and try new things. We hope to capture a few of these moments but never at the cost of your child’s experience.
Thank you for making Sky Ranch part of your child’s summer plans! If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.
Emails
In the Bunk1 App, you will also have the opportunity to use Credits to send your camper a letter during the week. Update them on what's happening at home, their favorite sport's team, or a funny thing the dog did! We'll print it out and give it to them. Letters are printed at 10:00 am each day, so be sure to submit it through the app before then!
