What to expect at meal time
During the summer, mealtime is more than just eating - it's an experience! Meals are full of energy with music, fun, and connection. Campers get the chance to practice independence by choosing their own toppings or building their own salads, all with the support of a counselor nearby to help whenever needed.

Snacks
There are endless opportunities for campers to purchase snacks at Café Sky or Cracker Barrel using their Ranch Bank. They can also grab fresh fruit from the Dining Hall to take with them on the go.
Surprise your camper with a Snack Pack during the week by purchasing through your Sky Ranch Online Account! To order Snack Packs, simply log into your Sky Ranch account and locate your camper's registration. Click pre-orders, add your desired packages, click save, and process payment.
Special Dietary Requirements
We will gladly work with you regarding special dietary restrictions and food allergies. When completing online registration for camp, please complete the portion related to food allergies and dietary requirements. If you have specific questions or concerns, please contact our food service department directly by emailing FoodService@SkyRanch.org.

Ranch Bank
Each camper will be given a wristband that is linked to their Ranch Bank (aka Store Card). Campers are not allowed to carry cash on camp, so they use their Ranch Bank to purchase snacks, souvenirs, gifts, books, apparel, and more.
For Van Overnight, we recommend adding $75 to your camper’s Ranch Bank. You can do this before camp by logging into your online account, selecting your camper’s registration, and clicking on Ranch Bank.
At the end of the session, any unused funds can be donated to the Sky Ranch Scholarship Program to help other campers experience the fun of camp. If not donated, any remaining balance over $5 will be refunded within two weeks after your camper’s session.

Activities
Our activity offerings grow alongside your camper! Each Sky Level includes the full range of exciting Sky Ranch activities, with just a few age-appropriate exceptions. Here’s what that looks like:
Sky 1
Campers enjoy all age-appropriate activities, including all Skywaii activities (like sandcastle building, beach games, and water inflatables).

🏊 Swim Test Info
All campers take a swim test at the beginning of the week to ensure safety during water activities. The test includes:
- Jumping into the pool and fully submerging
- Swimming 100 feet continuously without stopping or needing assistance
Campers who do not pass are required to wear a life jacket at all water activities but can still fully participate. Depending on the schedule, re-tests may be available later in the week.
Traditions
Camp Raids
During the week, your camper may participate in a fun camp tradition that includes throwing water balloons or squirting shaving cream at another cabin.
The Birthday Song
If your camper's birthday happens to be during camp, don't worry! We have a special song we sing for them and they get to pie one of their counselors in the face! It's a birthday they will never forget!
Zion's Cup
Morph and Quest campers participate in this Sky Ranch tradition. Each camper is placed in one of three houses, Aleph, Gimel, or Shin, where they will compete as a team to win the ultimate prize: Zion's Cup!
The Life Map
Each program is guided by an intentional plan where we seek to grow a camper from who they are at 6 to who they can be at 18. This plan is called the Life Map.
Our yearly curriculum answers one of four worldview questions: Who is God? What is our need? What is truth? Who are you?
