Pre-Camp Prep

Pre-Camp Checklist
Now
  • Log into your Sky Ranch Online Account to:
    • Confirm your account is paid in full
    • Complete your Medical History Form and Terms & Conditions
    • Upload a close-up photo of your camper
    • Select your free Bunk1 bundle - instructions
    • Order your Camper Tee and SkyPack
    • Add Authorized Pickups for your camper
    • Confirm your Cabinmate Requests
      • Max of 4 to a group. Everyone must be the same gender and in the same program!
  • Download the Bunk1 App using your Sky Ranch username and password (no code needed)
    • Apple Store
    • Google Play Store
    • Turn notifications on so you can receive important updates about camp. (Please note - you will not be able to send Bunk Notes to your Launch Camper)
2 Weeks Before Camp
Day Before Camp
  • Check your email or Bunk1 for a map of your site—this will provide you with your address and where to go upon arrival at your Launch Camp Location
Day of Camp
  • Pack a lunch for your camper
  • Monday is NOT a water day - wear comfortable play clothes
During Camp
  • View photos and get reminders daily in the Bunk1 App
  • Check your team’s website for information about the days ahead—found in pre-camp emails and provided on Monday morning
  • See signage during check-out each day for reminders about the next day of fun at camp
Packing List

What to Bring to Launch Camp

 

Below is a list of items you will need to pack for each day of camp! We will also have reminders during check-out with information about what to pack for the following day.

Please make sure to label all of your camper’s belongings!

Daily

  • Water bottle
  • Tennis shoes
  • Sunscreen (Our counselors can only help apply spray sunscreen. Feel free to apply in the morning, we will reapply)
  • Lunch
  • Emergency Medications: Albuterol inhalers and Epinephrine injectors are the ONLY medications that can be accepted by Launch Camp staff. Staff members are trained in the administration of albuterol inhalers and epinephrine auto-injectors only. All other medications must be administered by a parent prior to arrival or after pickup. Please email the Sky Ranch Health Center Director at JenW@SkyRanch.org with any questions.

Clothing

A few notes about clothing for Launch Camp:

  • Comfy play clothes - shorts and a t-shirt kind of thing
  • Tennis shoes are a MUST!

Water Days

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are Water Days

  • Swimsuit (under your child's clothes, please)
    • Girls: One-piece
    • Boys: Swim shorts, no Speedos
  • Bag for wet swimsuit
  • Towel
  • Water shoes: required for water activities! Please send a second pair of shoes that they will wear for the dry portion of the day. "Teva" or "Aqua Sock" style works great.
