Travel

Campers will travel to and from Colorado by charter bus, and the trip details are outlined below.

Schedule
  • Quest Colorado – Campers will have dinner, attend the Opening Show, spend Monday at camp, and depart Monday evening for Horn Creek.
  • Sigma – Campers will have dinner and depart Sunday evening for Horn Creek or Ute Trail.
Bus Rules

All campers are required to follow the guidelines and rules explained by the bus driver for the charter bus company and implemented by the Leadership Camp staff. Head counts of campers and staff are taken many times during stops.

Bus Updates

We’ll share travel updates in the Bunk1 app during the bus ride and will notify parents if there are any delays due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Schedule

Each day is packed with activities, great food, exciting night events, and time to rest. Here’s a general overview of what our time together will look like.

Quest Colorado
  • Monday
    • Spend the day in Van participating in camp activities, then depart Monday evening for Horn Creek.
  • Tuesday - Monday
    • An incredible week at Horn Creek filled with activities, small group time, and unforgettable night events.
  • Monday Night
    • Depart for Dallas. 
  • Tuesday
    • Closing Show at Citizens Church - 4501 Legacy Drive, Plano, TX 75024

 

Sigma
  • Sunday Evening
    • Depart for Horn Creek and Ute Trail
  • Monday - Monday
    • Time together in the mountains!
    • Sigma Senior will hike to Top of the World all day on Friday to camp out and catch the sunrise on Saturday morning.
  • Monday Afternoon - Tuesday Afternoon
    • Campers will travel to Noah’s Ark, spend the night, and enjoy an unforgettable rafting experience.
  • Tuesday
    • Check in at Colorado Christian University. During this time, we will introduce Sigma Defense, where campers will be equipped and challenged to learn how to defend their faith.
  • Wednesday
    • Sigma Junior will volunteer at The Food Bank of the Rockies.
    • Sigma Senior will volunteer at the City of Golden Community Garden.
    • We'll end the night with a campfire.
  • Thursday
    • Campers will load up on the buses and begin the trip back to Van that evening.
  • Friday
    • Arrive in Van and spend the day together at camp.

Saturday Closing Shows 

  • Sigma Senior
    Sigma Brunch – 8:30 am in Oak Haven Dining Hall
    A special time to commemorate their experience as Sigmas and their time with Sky Ranch.
  • Sigma Junior
    Closing Show – 9:00 am in Frontier Hall
