Thank you for choosing Sky Ranch this summer!
We are beyond excited to hang out with your camper! This will be a week of crazy fun - full of opportunities to talk about Jesus and encourage your child in their faith while playing hard and making new friends. Thank you for allowing us to have a small part in the journey of your camper and your family!
Sincerely,
Kenli Edwards
Director of Day Camp

What to Bring
As you prepare for Sky Ranch Day Camp, below is a list of items you will need to pack each day for your camper.
Pro Tip: We will send reminders of the next day's theme through the Bunk1 App, so turn on those notifications!
Daily
Please make sure to label all of your campers belongings.
- Water bottle
- Extra clothes (just in case)
- Bible
- Tennis shoes
- Suncreen (please apply in the morning, we will reapply)
- Lunch and drink
- Emergency Medications: Albuterol inhalers and Epinephrine injectors are the ONLY medications which can be accepted by Day Camp staff. Staff members are trained in administration of albuterol inhalers and epinephrine auto-injectors only. All other medications must be administered by a parent prior to drop off or after pickup. Please email the Sky Ranch Health Center Administrator at JenW@SkyRanch.org with any questions.
Water Days
- Swimsuit (under your child's clothes, please!)
- Girls: Modest one-piece. No V-Necks.
- Boys: Appropriate length shorts. No Speedos.
- Gallon sized bag for wet swimsuit
- Water shoes (required for water activities)
- Towel
Note: Monday and Friday will NOT be water days.
Clothing
A few notes about clothing for Day Camp:
- Camp is messy. Wear comfy play clothes - shorts and a t-shirt kind of thing!
- Tennis shoes are a MUST!
- On water days, we require water shoes of some sort. It would be best to send a second pair of shoes for "water shoes" so they don't spend the dry parts of the day in wet shoes. Any kind of Teva style or aquasock type shoe will be great.
Camper Snacks
We will be providing daily snacks for your camper during snack time each afternoon. Below is a list of what snack they will be given each day. If your camper can not eat the snack that we will be providing, feel free to send a snack with your camper that they can eat during snack time.
Monday - Pepperidge Farm Gold Fish Crackers
Tuesday - Mott's Fruit Flavored Snacks
Wednesday - Snyder's of Hanover Mini Pretzels
Thursday - Member's Mark Fruity Snacks
Friday - Member's Mark Animal Crackers

Daily Schedule
Each day is jam packed with activities and fun!
*Friday Closing Show is at 3:00pm!

Every summer, our biblically-based study curriculum centers around answering one of our four rotating worldview questions. This summer, we are answering the question “What is truth?” with God’s Word.
To go along with our Bible study curriculum, each day we have a Big Idea with hand motions to help our campers retain foundational truths about their faith. Ask your camper about the Big Idea when you pick them up each day!
MONDAY
Big Idea: God's Word is completely true
Bible Verse: 2 Timothy 3:16
At Home Follow-Up: Today your camper learned that
God’s Word is completely true. If God’s Word is true, we want to know what it says! We encouraged your camper to read their Bible with you to learn the truths God has for them.
TUESDAY
Big Idea: God's Word tells us who He is
Bible Verse: Exodus 34:6, Deuteronomy 7:9
At Home Follow-Up: As you read God’s Word with your
camper, ask them what they are learning about who God is. The Bible teaches us about God!
WEDNESDAY
Big Idea: God's Word tells us His plan for salvation
Bible Verse: 1 John 4:9-10
At Home Follow-Up: God’s Word has a plan to invite us
in—through Jesus! Ask your camper about what separated man from God and who came and bridged that gap—to connect us back to God! Read Romans 10:9 with your camper.
THURSDAY
Big Idea: God's Word shows us how to live
Bible Verse: 2 Peter 1:3-4
At Home Follow-Up: As we learn about who God is
through His Word, it shows us how to live! Ask your camper, “What are some ways that you can live like God, so that others can see how good He is?”.
FRIDAY
Big Idea: God's Word invites us into His kingdom
Bible Verse: 1 Peter 2:9-10
At Home Follow-Up:Our hope is that the truth of the gospel is planted in the heart of your campers! You can continue to ask them about what it looks like to be members of the Kingdom of God.
