Day Camp brings a traveling circus to the DFW area! Our Day Camp team sets up camp at various locations to create a space for kids to experience camp in their neighborhood. Our Day Camp Counselors spend the week playing and investing in relational ministry. This is the first impression of Sky Ranch for many families, so bring a smile and lots of energy!

Big brothers, big sisters! Join a family on vacation, serving them, jumping into family dynamics,and becoming a major part of their week at camp. Our Family Camp Counselors love and serve our families during their week at camp. Applicants should have a desire for family ministry and working with a variety of age levels.

Our Guest Services team is our customer service experts on camp! They serve our camper families with communication and hospitality. During the day this team leads the effort in guest communication and office tasks, and in the evening they help facilitate night events for our campers. If you are gifted in multitasking and desire to serve behind the scenes, this position is for you!

Our Health Care team is here to take care of our campers’ health and safety. If a camper ever feels sick or gets hurt, this team cares for them physically and emotionally. This position is also a GREAT addition to your resume:

• You would work directly with medical professionals from different fields
• You would gain close to 600 hours of patient contact experience throughout the summer
• Note: Although it is helpful, you do not need to have medical experience

Lifeguards are responsible for creating an atmosphere of safety so campers and staff can focus on exciting moments and building relationships. Maintenance is for college and high school staff wanting to be caretakers of camp. A day in life consists of mowing, landscaping, miscellaneous repairs, and so much more. If you love diversity of duty, fluidity in schedule, and working alongside others behind the scenes– maintenance is your place.

Overnight Counselors are the primary care takers of campers! Living in the cabin with campers, Overnight Counselors spend the entire week playing with and investing in relational ministry. They work tirelessly to ensure a physically and emotionally safe environment in which kids can come to know Jesus!

Photographers capture these great moments for families to see what their kiddo is up to at camp and so campers can remember these experiences forever! POPS (Programs and Operations Staff) is a position that will truly be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving through a variety of responsibilities. At Sky Ranch Cave Springs our POPS staff work and live in a close-knit community while primarily serving local churches at camp.

Grab all the great moments! The Videography team captures, edits, and produces several videos to be highlighted at our closing show for each session of camp. Applicants need to have a desire to develope videography skills while participating in the ministry taking place at camp.

Don’t just look at the mountains, know them! Traversing the San Juan Mountain range, wilderness guides will lead groups over and through these peaks through the course of a week! While backpacking, guides will also facilitate the ministry that takes place on the trip. Applicants should have a heart for (and experience in) leading and backpacking! We ask for a two-year commitment for Wilderness Guide positions.

Wranglers are the boots on the ground for our rodeo camp ministries! This includes all things equestrian—whether caring for horses, repairing fences, leading trail rides, or helping with our weekly rodeo. If you want to get your hands dirty, learn new skills, or brush up on old ones this is the job for you!
