Please note: We ask that you not come sooner than the date listed since preparations for your arrival will be ongoing.

Transportation
You will be flying in and out of Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) exclusively on the dates outlined on your Work Crew offer, and exclusively within the time parameters. For your arrival date, your flight must land no later than 2:30pm local time. Your return flight must take-off no earlier than 10:00am, and it is recommended that it departs no later than 2:00pm.
Once you are booked, please email us at HaleyS@SkyRanch.org with your flight itinerary info.
-
It is strongly encouraged that you buy this flight as soon as possible to avoid price fluctuations.
-
Sky Ranch will pick up and drop off Work Crew participants from the Montrose Airport on their arrival and departure date.
-
Please note that it is very important that Work Crew participants arrive and depart on time. Due to the remote nature of our Colorado sites, it becomes extremely difficult to accommodate a late arrival or departure. If you have an important scheduling need, please know that we evaluate on a case-by-case scenario and contact me as soon as possible.
-
A participant is allowed to be driven and dropped off at Ute Trail, if this is the case, please reach out as soon as possible.
Travel Stipend
Work Crew Participants are given a $500 stipend to cover or alleviate the cost of transportation to Ute Trail. To receive it, one must complete their onboarding, specifically the Direct Deposit and W9 form.
Stipends are distributed via direct deposit at the pay period nearest their arrival date. Generally, the stipend will be in the recipients account on the 1st or 2nd Monday following arrival.

What is expected of me when it comes to my appearance?
Sky Ranch follows the mainstream conservative approach when it comes to physical appearance. While employed with Sky Ranch, we ask you to follow these guidelines.

Do you have laundry facilities on camp?
Yes. Once you are here, we will let you know what days you can wash your clothes. We will provide the detergent.

You will be staying in the Outpost, which is a screened in cabin. The housing just contains bunk beds, but there is an adjacent bath house containing showers, sinks, toilets, and running water.

Not very much! Space will be tight. Bring only what you need - your roommates will appreciate it!
Will I be able to keep medicine in my cabin with me?
Sky Ranch will provide staff members needing medications with a private locker in the Health Center.
