Responsible for snow removal in the winter. Responsible for leading the maintenance team in completion of all duties and communicating all goals, expectations, and Sky Ranch policies. Assist Construction Manager and subcontractors with property construction and remodels. Maintain compliance with Sky Ranch’s employee policies and procedures. Maintain compliance with all state and federal laws and regulatory requirements.

Working Conditions:  Works both indoors and outdoors (hot and cold weather).  Must be able to do more strenuous activities such as working with heavy equipment.   The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.  High physical effort required.  Ability to use up to 80 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently to lift and move objects. The Health Center Professional (HCP) supports the ministries of Sky Ranch by providing an excellent and safe environment.  This person helps us exceed guest expectations of the overall summer camp experience.  They provide professional, quality health services to guests, campers and staff through the Health Center at Sky Ranch in Van and in Colorado.  Work involves the implementation of program policies and procedures as directed by state, federal and administrative codes, as well as professional practice standards. Work is performed with latitude for independent judgment, and action is reviewed by the supervisor through meetings, reports and observation of results obtained.

Qualified candidates should possess the following: Be a committed believer in Jesus Christ, with active membership in a local church.   Must have valid and current license for Practice Nurse (LPN/LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas or Certified/Licensed Paramedic current with the State of Texas.   Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.  Ability to speak clearly in face to face interactions; and be proficient with English language.  Work effectively as part of a team.  Must be able to reside on camp for one week of summer camp (Saturday through Saturday) or overnight for our weekend retreats.  Health Center Professional will receive a 100% discount for each week of summer camp worked, along with nominal pay for services.
