The Retail Manager oversees other retail staff and assists in completing functions relating to Retail as they pertain to guest, staff and families while reporting to the Retail Director. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, scheduling and monitoring hourly staff, inventory management procedures, customer service training, usage of point of sale software, replenishing stock, cleaning and maintaining equipment in all retail locations, compliance with Texas Department of Health, ACA, and OSHCOM regulations and guidelines, purchasing and following purchase order procedures, compliance with Sky Ranch retail service policies and procedures and additional responsibilities as required.
Qualified candidates should possess the following: Be a committed believer in Jesus Christ, with active membership in a local church. In-depth understanding of the field of customer service as related to retail and/or food & beverage outlets generally acquired through prior work experience. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service. Encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members. Ability to effectively manage staff in areas such as: selection, development, coaching, motivation, scheduling, and performance evaluation. Ability to deal with complex situations or issues and make effective, timely and appropriate decisions. Excellent leadership skills necessary to appropriately influence people to achieve a desired outcome. The work schedule is full time. The applicant must be willing to work a flexible schedule where late evenings and weekends are required when needed. During the summer season, the applicant will need to be able to work Saturday and Sunday.
